Binh Duong develops Vietnam's first carbon-neutral industrial cluster

On the afternoon of April 13, in Ho Chi Minh City, an international cooperation program to develop a carbon neutral industrial cluster (Net-Zero) took place between Gia Dinh Group and SEP Cooperative Group (Korea) at the Industrial Cluster. Tam Lap 2 Industrial Park, Phu Giao District, Binh Duong Province. Attending the program, from Binh Duong province, there was Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On the partner side are leaders of the Korean National Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and Korea University of Technology.

At the program, representatives of SEP Cooperative Group introduced carbon neutral technologies that will be applied at Tam Lap 2 Industrial Cluster, including 3 categories: Using solar energy; building a waste and wastewater treatment system; Industrial waste recycling technology.

Also at the program was the signing ceremony of a memorandum of agreement on cooperation in implementing the "Net Zero" industrial cluster between Gia Dinh Group and SEP Cooperative Group.

It is known that the Tam Lap 2 industrial cluster project is expected to start construction at the end of 2023.
