A leader of the Provincial People's Committee inspects Ho Son 1 industrial cluster projects

| On the morning of May 22, a working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the implementation of industrial park and cluster projects in Huu Lung district, including Ho Son 1 Industrial Cluster. Attending were leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Huu Lung District People's Committee and related enterprises and contractors. |
According to reports, Huu Lung district currently has three industrial projects underway including the VSIP Lang Son industrial park project; Ho Son 1 industrial cluster; and Hoa Son 1 industrial cluster.
As of the end of May 2025, site clearance for these projects has been effectively implemented by the Huu Lung District People’s Committee and the investors. Specifically, Ho Son 1 industrial cluster has fully cleared all areas of 73.76 hectares.
Regarding construction, Ho Son 1 industrial cluster’s investor is actively completing administrative procedures for construction and land leveling, as well as drainage systems. At Ho Son 1, approximately 40 hectares have been leveled to design elevation. Currently, Ho Son 1 industrial cluster’s investor has disbursed over 200 billion VND for site clearance and construction.

During the inspection, investors, Huu Lung District People’s Committee, and relevant departments, sectors discussed issues raised by the investors, including difficulties and obstacles in infrastructure investment, site clearance, issuance of land use rights certificates, partial planning adjustments to attract secondary investors, expediting construction permits for component projects, upgrading existing roadways to enhance connectivity to industrial zones and clusters, and supporting environmental impact assessment documentation.

In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman Doan Thanh Son acknowledged the active involvement of departments, the Huu Lung District People's Committee, and investors in areas such as site clearance and on-site construction. Thereby, achieving many positive results. However, in the process of implementing the projects, there were still some problems with procedures, and implementation progress according to investment certificates has not met the requirements.
Comrade Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a concluding speech at the inspection session.
For upcoming tasks, the Vice Chairman requested that Ho Son 1 Industrial Cluster has to closely collaborate with the Department of Construction in accelerating the construction permitting process and coordinate with other departments to assist the investor in adjusting the investment approval and preparing the feasibility study report.
