On the morning of December 11, 2024, Gia Dinh Group officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in promoting investment in the Tam Lap 5 Industrial Cluster project at the conference announcing the Phu Giao District Construction Master Plan through 2040, pursuant to Decision No. 2973/QD-UBND issued by the Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee on October 18, 2024.

Accordingly, the conference was organized by the Phu Giao District People’s Committee to announce and publicize the Phu Giao District Construction Master Plan through 2040, enabling all organizations and individuals inside and outside the district to be informed of and comply with relevant matters in accordance with the approved plan. At the same time, the conference was combined with trade promotion activities to attract businesses to Phu Giao to explore and invest in sectors approved under the master plan.

The conference was attended by more than 200 guests, including current and former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and organizations; representatives of businesses and industrial clusters in the district; the Provincial Business Association; and associations across the province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Van Quang Chinh, Vice Chairman of the Phu Giao District People’s Committee, said that the Phu Giao District Construction Master Plan aims to concretize the socio-economic development strategy outlined in the Binh Duong Provincial Master Plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Accordingly, by 2040, Phu Giao District will develop toward an Industrial – Urban, Service – Agricultural structure, with a population of approximately 240,000 people. The district will call for and attract investment in 4 industrial parks with a total area of 2,800 hectares and 18 industrial clusters covering more than 1,183 hectares. Phu Giao will also develop 3 new urban areas, each classified as a Class V urban area, laying the foundation for the district to become a Class IV urban area and for the establishment of Phu Giao Town in the period after 2040.

At the conference, Trung Hau Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Gia Dinh Group and the project investor, also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting investment cooperation, marking the starting point for investment cooperation in the Tam Lap 5 Industrial Cluster project. This demonstrates the close cooperation between the Phu Giao District People’s Committee and Trung Hau Co., Ltd. in developing the district into a civilized, prosperous, and beautiful area, improving the quality of life for local residents, and promoting sustainable development.

Phu Giao District aims to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, maintaining a balance between socio-economic development and environmental protection, with the expectation of becoming a centrally governed city by 2030 and developing into a leading locality at the northeastern gateway of Binh Duong Province.
